| During the summer of 1997, Amy was working at a local fine dining
restaurant. That summer, Jim had decided to pursue a job at the same
restaurant. Jim and Amy had finally met!
Although both had some interest
in the other, Amy had another year of school and Jim was looking for
professional employment. Another four or five months went by until Jim
and Amy had crossed paths again. Amy was back for the weekend from school
and decided to go to a new dance club with some of her friends. This was
her first time at this club. That night she bumped into Jim, who was also
there. Neither of us were impressed with the club, however we were
impressed with each other. That night we exchanged e-mail addresses
(since Amy was 84 miles away at school). Through e-mail we set up our
first date and the rest is history!
